April First Friday - Full Moon Fun @ Kate’s Art Studio Open House

In the company of both locals and visitors alike, I spent my full moon Friday evening in a bohemian style art studio in an old carriage house. This studio is truly a hidden piece of Key West history. Many old and new friends came out to mingle with us at the studio.

Being the fortunate guest artist at Kate’s Art Studio Open House, ZEN by Karen Moore jewelry was showcased alongside Kate Peachey’s latest paintings. 


"Pretty in Pink" Conch collection and the versatile ZEN Wrap® with 14kt gold-filled hardware were the evening favorites.   





Gold is a great accent material for the Spring, it has a striking look that instantly gives that sense of richness and warmth.

I recently learned, a work of art divided into three panels/pieces is called a triptych.

My current favorites are Kate's Island styles.  

So cheerful, full of free-spirit. Think I'll commission a piece of the island for my home!
